Ink It Up

And so it has started.  After 5 years of planning, my tattoo has finally become permanent.  Right now it looks like coloring book pages (just outline), but when it is complete; it will have tons of tiny details.  My piece of art I'll wear on my sleeve.  Yes I know these photos do not give it justice.  The artist, Jon was fantastic!  He drew it all on by hand and even did some of the details without sketching first.  Did I say he was amazing.  Anyway, my next visit he will finish drawing on Alice, cheshire cat,  the white rabbit, and the Duchess.  It will be a work in process for probably a year.  I am so excited to finally see it on me, although it is strange seeing my arm colored on.  I feel like a little kid.  Expect my next tattoo update in about a month.

Oh my Gosh!!!  As you know I am trying to grow my hair out.  I hate it, hate it, hate it!!!  It is so ugly!  It is at that stage where you have to spend an hour doing it so it doesn't look like crap.  Really an hour.  Do I really want long hair?  Everyday, I feel like I'm wasting my time.  Stop me.  I am about to pick up the scissors. 

That right.... Cael is 2 already and Daddy turned the big 3 oh!  We had a little birthday bash for them and invited the family.  The kids played nonstop and Cael was finally able to play with his new toys after everyone left.  It funny how exhausting a birthday party can be.  All the excitement overwhelmed Grandpa Horse.
