Christmas Day

The kids were so excited running down the stairs to see what Santa had brought them.  Keatley got a Barbie coffee maker and a hula hoop.  Just what see wanted!  She went straight to work making Dad and Mom pretend lattes.  She also got V Smile cyberlink,  a Tag book, and Grandma and Grandpa Horse brought her a Polly Pocket horse play set.
Santa left Cael a wooden workbench which he still hasn't even looked at.  But Mom and Dad made up for it with a whole Thomas the Train set with table and all.  He has not stopped playing with it.  Grandma and Grandpa Horse (AKA Rick and Cathy) bought him a huge Tonka dump truck and some monster trucks.  Grandpa Computer (Renn) and Grandma Chocolate (Cindy) bought the kids a basketball hoop which we just put up in the basement.  Grandma Sheep (Toni) bought the children these beautiful books.

Thank you to everyone who made our Christmas wonderful!

Christmas Eve

T'was the night before Christmas and all through the house,  the Crumps were all making a gingerbread house.  The gumdrops were placed on the walkway with care and hoped that St. Nicholas soon be be there.

That's right, it's a another holiday.  That means Mom spent 5 hour baking and decorated sugar cookies.

Sledding in Tooele

We just got 8 inches of snow and what a better time to go sledding than now.  The kids had a lot of fun but it ended when Nate was raped by a rock coming down the hill.  He didn't get up for a while and Keatley got a face full of snow that same trip down.  I had to have a family picture taken before we went home and that's why everyone is miserable except Mom.

Hooray! Christmas in our first home!

We are so excited to be in our new home!
Yes, it may be a little out of the way in Tooele, but the home is great for us.  We have been really busy trying to unpack and I feel like it takes forever to clean now.  This spring we will put in our yard and a fence, but until then I have dirt blowing in everyday.  It will stay cleaner once it has snowed. "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas".

TOUGH GUY

We were at Aunt Cari's house yesterday and all the kids were playing in the unfinished basement.  Cael had been going up and down the stairs for a while until the last time when he was pulling the door shut behind him and fell backwards down the the whole stairs to the
cement floor at the bottom.  Luckily he did not get a head injury, however he did
break his arm.
I took him to the ER where they put a temporary cast on him.  I was told to make an appointment with the orthopedic doctor in 3 days, however this morning he was ripping it off!  So I called the doctor and they got us in first thing.  The doctor knew Cael would not keep a splint on so he put a brace on him and sent us on our way.  It was just a buckle fracture and Cael's has to keep his brace on for 3-4 weeks.  We are so lucky that the injuries were minor.

I think he looks like a little tough kid with his brace.  Better not get in his way cause he'll take you out!  hee hee

Okay people, I got bored and decided to bleach the bangs.
Please give me your honest opinion, can I pull off blonde?

I put Cael down for a nap today & after 30 min I went back in there because I could her him whining.  He had climbed out of his crib and got stuck behind the toddler bed I had standing up against the wall.  I hurried and grabbed my camera before I got him out.  This was definitely one of those moments I wanted to remember.
Needless to say, I took apart the crib and set up the toddler bed.  It's official... he is no longer a baby.  Hopefully he doesn't get out of bed in the night, but I have a feeling I am not going to be getting much sleep this next week.

We carved pumpkins last night.  Cael would not touch the pumpkin guts, but he enjoyed them when we were done.  Keatley drew a picture of a princess and Mom cut it out for her.  Dad's pumpkin was a turkey holding an axe and Mom drew and cut out Blue and Thomas.  All together it was great family fun!

Little Miss Muffet and her spider went to Gardner Village for the PEE WEE witch festival.    They weren't there long, but they got to walk in the costume parade across the stage.  Miss Muffet said she loved being on stage.  What a surprise! Miss Muffet and her spider danced away to the chicken song and had a great time.
